Etsy can be a magical place full of handmade and vintage goods, but it can often be challenging to find the hidden gems in all the clutter.  We found some of the best shops that cater specifically towards a plus-size audience and offer super stylish pieces to add to your wardrobe.

Thread Over Heels

The talented April runs several Etsy shops but our favorite for sure is Thread Over Heels. Based in Baltimore Maryland, she searches high and low for fancy items for you and your home. April loves finding great vintage, especially for plus size girls. A lot of her items are also upcycled and refashioned with love for more modern times.  No fuddy-duddy frocks on her watch!

Brown Bag Plus

An extension of Brown Bag Vintage, Brown Bag + offers stylish vintage choices in 12 and up. Curator Michelle Delgado upgraded the plus size section of her main shop after receiving positive responses from customers about how she used beautiful plus size models to showcase her clothing. Turns out many other shops used smaller models for their 12+ clothing, not offering an accurate depiction of how the clothing would actually fit.  You have to admit this model does look stunning.

“This shop is a small step in the larger picture of body positive – everyone should feel good in their skin and our pieces will only accentuate that positive.” – Michelle

Designer and vintage lover Deena, a UK native, started the shop Beloved Endeavor to share her style with other plus-size women. She sells vintage clothing size 14 and up and offers custom modern pieces made to order. Deena also runs the blog Fat Girls Like Nice Clothes Too, where she styles her clothing and gives advice on being a more confident you.

“Its not my place to tell you what you should weigh (although I think I occasionally do rant a bit about not beating yourself up over every extra half pound). It is my place though to tell you that whether you weigh 100lbs or 300lbs you should make sure you look fantastic at all times!” – Deena
