Plus Size blogger Emmie Ho hails from the land of fast horses, bourbon, and bluegrass – Lexington, Kentucky. On her blog “Authentic Emmie” she focuses on everything from body positive fitness to fashion. One thing she’s learned on her blogging journey is to love herself at every size. Instead of focusing on losing weight, she focuses on gaining life.

OUTFIT: Hands down, shades of blue are my favorite colors. If I had to rank from most favorite, it’d be cobalt, turquoise, navy, mint (which I know is more blue-green), and baby blue. I’m a magnet to anything blue in the stores. Kohl’s sent me shopping and naturally I ended up with a blue overload – perfect for spring! With brands like Apt. 9, Sonoma, Jennifer Lopez, and more, there were lots of options for me to try on at my local Kohl’s. I think I took 12 things into the dressing room, ha. I ended up mixing a couple of brands to create a layered look that will be a go-to for the rest of spring.
