It can be hard to find a sock that looks stylish, fits comfortably, and stays up on our legs the whole day! Luckily, the search is over with the new fashionable sock brand Xpandasox, that offers expandable socks up to 24+ inches on the calves. Created as an offshoot of the legwear brand Passione Legwear, founder Sharon Thorp noticed that there wasn’t a comfortable practical sock on the market that worked well for those with larger calves. Soon, a patent and brand was born! From the initial expandable sock idea, the line kept expanding from there–basics, unisex options, fun prints and even a sexy Purrfect Goddess line featuring lace options (and thigh highs). The company also plans to launch a new line called XpandaSport–perfect for ladies who have muscular calves.
while the socks work particularly well for plus-sizes, they are great for everybody. All photography on the site is unedited so you can see what the product looks like on real people. It gets even better because for each pair of Xpandasox sold, a pair is donated to homeless shelters with the companies “Sock Bank” program. The company hopes to donate 200,000 socks by March 2016.
